    Anyone using Eezox?

After reading a bunch of threads and blog posts about corrosion resistance, I saw that RemOil - my "go-to" for a decade - fared very poorly in tests vs. other products. I'd never been thrilled with it, but I thought it was just me and it was as good as it gets.

I decided to grab some Eezox, and so far I'm much happier. I'm not using it as a lubricant or a cleaner, but as a surface protectant after I clean the firearm. It's easy to spray on, dries quickly, and "dries" without leaving the surface. Fingerprints just wipe away.

    Anyone else using it?

I really like it but someone here said it's not good for you healthwise, so i stopped using it. I did use it as a surface protectant also, but now I just use regular ol silicone lube.

Good stuff, I huff it regularly. I mean I use it to clean my guns regularly.

It is my go to protectant for all firearms. I particularly use it to wipe down all metal before storage.

Works great, I love using it. Best for letting sit in the barrel to draw out lead fouling.

Keep away from paint, bakelite or hardened rubber though.

Junk. Over time it turns into varnish. Stick with a good oil or Ballistol.

For general light cleaning and surface protection I just use CLP.

I used Rem Oil for a long time but last year I heard a couple of bad things about it.
I switched to Ballistol and have been satisfied with it.

Fan of it here. Been using it for the last 15 years.

EEZOX works great, while you are active with the firearm. It turns into goo after a long period of time - it isn't a good storage lube unless you clean it out before use.

Fan of EEZOX, I use it mainly as a surface protectant mainly under the 1911 grips.

Tried it and I didn’t find it much diff then CLP

I like my current setup, Ballistol for cleaning and basic lubrication, slide glide for high wear areas then I store in a Bore Store...which also has the added benefit of letting you cram your guns into your safe
