CA7 is a 'straight-pull bolt action' pistol. https://franklinarmory.com/franklin-...lifornia-only/ so, as OCArmory points out, 'assault weapon features' do not make any difference.

Until it's converted into a semi-auto.
Then the features like a threaded muzzle, barrel shroud and detachable magazine outside the pistol grip start to be an issue.

Well, that's pretty common - fine in condition "A", problematic in condition "B".

For example, "you're a legal gun owner until you stick up a 7-11".

I just find it simpler to deal with what people say than guessing what they might later do.
