Freedom Week 2 Dream CA7 setups

What would be your dream setups if the stars aligned and Judge Benitez said, "you know what, screw it...I'm gonna knock out all the current AWB rules..." I'm not getting my hopes too high...but at the same time I wanna be ready. In a dream world, I would want a nice clean and light AR Pistol.

    Uppers:
I'm thinking, first choice, I'd like to get a Daniel Defense DDM4V7 S for the M-lok and nice light 11.5 upper.

A second choice would be DD Mk 18 upper...second choice bc I like the quad rail, but won't be using the real estate...the extra weight is a negative, but a positive at the same time probably (extra weight being cumulative if carried for along time, but make the gun feel better shooting...subjectively). I have a funny feeling I'm gonna get one of these regardless if its a first or second upper...you know, for the safety margin of redundancy, lol.

    A third choice would be a Bravo Company 11.5 M-lok upper...this would be 2/3 the cost of the DDM4V7 S 11.5 upper.

Any other suggestions? If I'm only gonna have one upper, I don't mind paying for quality. Of course the cal guns suggestion will get "get them all"

    Optics:
I have a few trijicon goodies laying around. An SRO and a TA31 Acog. Not ideal optics, but I have them in the safe sitting on Larue QD mounts. Any suggestions? Eotech? Holosun?Aimpoint? I'm interested in the trijicon MRO.

    Braces: Yes. SBA3 or SBA4?

Triggers: I'm happy with my Larue MBT on another rifle....and it has an unbeatable price. Any other reccs?

I'm curious to hear what others are looking to do. I hope all this dreaming isn't for naught.

I will look those up...while looking up Geissele I might as well also really look at sons of liberty gun works.

Is the muzzle blast on the mk18 tolerable? I know DD updated the gas port at some point. Is the excessive blast just internet hype/myth repeated again and again (for example, I've read about people saying 357 sig is excessively loud...I found it a non issue. Or "my rock island 1911 is just as good as a les Baer " )

Put a stock on, a regular mag release, and a >10 rd mag.....

But with a stock you hit SBR

The problem that I see is it getting overturned, then Newscum bans all guns.

There was just a report on the news that 40% of gun crimes are from untraceable ghost guns.... you know with a statistic like that, they will just be well, that's almost half, so we just need to get rid of them all.....

I had an SBA3, eh..... had an SBA4 also... eh......

        Running a KAK Shockwave 2

I do like the PDW brace, the tail hook 2

"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

I just want a collapsible stock a pistol grip and a regular mag release. Is that too much to ask for?

The cali dem autocracy says, " yes, yes it is".
I dreamed of owning a (insert off roster gun here)...

Oh yeah....then the earth splits open with me on one side and the (off roster gun) on the other. Then appeared a large red-glowing pit with gavin newscum, diane frankenstein and governor "brown the drain" at the bottom of it, waving their pitchforks at me.

Well for a while I was planning to do something mag locked in 6.5 Grendel or .350 Legend as a super portable “deer gun”, but then the price was getting out of hand for something that wouldn’t likely be used. Even a .450 would be fun for a magazine or four.
Instead I’m just going to aim for a shorty carbine with the 10.5” upper.

If you guys truly want freedom, why don't you ban together, form a posse, and arrest and try those running over the constitution?

i ordered my ca7 yesterday. these 10 days are killing me. Not trying to break the bank tho and will prolly look for a cheaper upper to start. maybe a psa marauder or a 10.5 upper with FSB. I wouldnt mind a Colt Commando clone (with a SB3 brace and Law Tactical Folder).

ETA: This would work for me for the time being: https://palmettostatearmory.com/inde...tm_campaign=cl

Question for those that went the CA7 route, besides supporting a company that strives to bring options to CA, why not PPT a pistol lower? Is it that it's just hard to find or people are charging an arm. Even though it might be more expensive you don't end up with an upper that is mostly useless. With an 800-900 dollar CA7 you still have to get a maglock, upper, different bcg... Downsides to finding and PPT a pistol lower?

I’ve never seen one for sale - like ever?
But mostly to support Franklin Arms.
