My buddy only sells ammo. Those prices are based on large contracts where ammo is shipped to the retailer whether they can sell it all or not each month. It is a race to price it enough to move and still make a profit after paying interest on what the manufacturer charges to ship product before it is paid off.
I can drop ship ammo in any quantity for one price so I could ship a truck load to CA for $10. But if it goes to my business first it is impossible to compete due to the weight.
