Hello all,
Not sure if this should be here or in gunsmithing, but I have been dissapointed with the results of my research amd was hoping someone might have some advice for me.
I shot air rifle marksmanship in JROTC in high school and loved it. I recently purchased a marlin .22 with a heavy target barrel and I would love to figure out a way to put some aperture competition sights on it.
The big issue is the barrel has no dovetail of any kind. Is there an alternative method to attach a globe style front sight to a barrel without some serious gunsmithing work/tools? How do the palma and smallbore folks do it? I dont want to end up spending a huge amount of money to prepare the rifle for a front sight.
