    Gunsmiths specializing in Winchester 1897?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows of any gunsmiths that specialize in Winchester 1897's? Picked one up and wanted to have it inspected and to possibly open up the chamber for modern shells (if necessary). Two that I'm considering are:

    Dusty Bunch in AZ

    Classic Old West Arms

Anyone have experience with either or someone else you liked? Any feedback or info would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

The Cowboys and Indian store http://cowboysandindianstore.com/
He's the best. The best way to get ahold of him is to call on the phone. If he's running equipment he may not hear the phone. Keep trying. He's been working on all my cowboy guns for the last 15 years.

I got my '97 from Old Western Gun Repair (Dusty Bunch) and Tom did a great job. She's an oldie (1908) and most of the bluing is gone but everything feels solid, the action is slick and it'll hold six for "Wild Bunch" shoots. Nothing has broken (yet) but its a '97 so I guess its just a matter of time.
