Any firearm insurance to recommend?

Someone recommended this www.historicfirearms.com, but I wonder if there is other option to compare with. My main purpose would be to minimize the loss if there was a burglary. Fire and flood would be secondary concern.

When you start getting into ultra high end collecting, far beyond typical lowbrow pedestrian rube collecting (Ex: "I got me a AR milwar gun and a Bareta M9!") it is not worth leaving anything to chance. I mean less like blue light walmart-ians and more like that high rollers car auction where the old mens bid on expensive cars that don't even run right because they have topush em up onto the auctions blocks. SAD!

I woke up one day and realized I had accumulated nearly $6,300 (NOT a typo) in total gun stuff including ammos and was a sitting duck for a high end laser jumper burglar like from Ocean-11. I said "Uh-oh, its time to get properly indenimfied with proper insurances.

I agree. Many home owner and some renter polices will have something like 1-2k coverage for this. Beyond that, get coverage. I know some home owners policies will give you additional coverage but not loss due to fire or loss outside of the home and/or in transit, either by you or a carrier. So check the details. Ask plenty of questions. Do your homework.

I recall having a yearly renewal NRA membership for quite some time. After being pummeled with metric tons of NRA "upgrade" junk mail for years, I took the plunge and bought a life membership.

After receiving the Chinese NRA pocket knife and child sized carnival grade trucker hat, along with lots of "Life Member" stickers, I was feeling pretty good about it. But within a few days, the junk mail resumed at an even higher rate than before. For I naively thought they would leave me alone after the life membership.

I don't recall what the next grade of life membership is, but I am saving my pennies for it. Someone at the range told me they think it comes with some sort of red fez hat that can be upgraded with golden tassels once you get into the really high levels. I asked about the secret handshake but was given stern warning about even mentioning its existence.

And yes, there is some sort of insurance thing they have too.

I called them and asked not to receive any mail, calls, or emails. Nothing but the magazine, please.
