    9mm Brass

Used 9mm Parabellum has got to be the most popular handgun case for sale.
Every time I see someone selling it, in small or large quantities, it gets snapped-up fast.
Is this just my imagination or what?

right now, if you do not already reload and have the presses, powder measures, calipers, die sets...then it is just cheaper to buy factory loaded 9 MM IF you value your time.

however with a possible ever looming crack down on guns and ammo availability and loopholes to even get ammo. Many people are stocking up on reloading components. With 9 MM being the most common centerfire handgun cartridge, it stands to reason there is high demand.

Primers and powder are where the reloading prep should be focused on. Brass can be reused/reloaded many times but the primer and powder are consumable, one time use items. Bullets/projectiles can be cast from lead weights if push comes to shove.

Thanks for the responses, and thanks for the offer(s).
I've been reloading for a few years now. This is just an observation and I wanted to
make sure than I was seeing what other members are seeing as well.

I hate that all I ever find at the range now is 9mm, most people just leave their brass on the ground. Been collecting it for over 20 years, use to get a nice verity now just 9mm.

By accident, I’ve happened to hit the range after Leo qualifiers on more than one occasion. Had brass coming out my ears.....

Most training I see is with 9mm, most matches are by far shot with 9, so sounds to reason that most are practicing with it.

Likely that the other calibers people are reloading and picking up their brass nowadays since Pro63.

I'm to the point where I just started shooting 9mm as much as my other calibers but given the amount of brass I currently have, the amount of 9mm ammo I have with a brass recovery rate of about 80%, I feel I should have enough 9mm brass to last me a lifetime+.

I'm all for continuing to collect the brass but I don't see myself ever purchasing any. Bullets, primers, and powders though are always needed.

You can have as much ammo as you'd like but you can only store 20lbs of powder?

I recycle all my 22LR and 22 WMR brass. The 9mm and .223 I save for a friend who reloads. He's very appreciative of once-fired brass.

Only 20 lbs of powder? And everyone obeys the 65 mph speed limit too?

There is a special place in Hell for those who shoot 9x18 Makarov and leave their brass on the ground.

                          Just saying.

                              I am pretty good at spotting/sorting .380

                              9x18, not so much.
