Goods and services. You're covered by paypal but pay a 2-3% fee. That would amount to about $82.

If anything goes wrong paypal refunds you, if you used friends and family its essentially like handing him cash in person. You're never gonna get it back
That cuts both ways. As a seller, I never take paypal. Way to easy for a buyer to claim fraud after he has my goods and claw back my money.

Wrong wrong wrong. PayPal is not gun friendly. So paying friends family or goods/services doesn’t protect you.. just wait till you file a claim and they find out what it’s for.

No. He said it would have been 82$ total. Not an $82 fee.

I still believe that nobody with less than 500 posts should be permitted to use the marketplace. That would eliminate so many weasels and scammers.

I belong to a photography forum that has a 30 day wait period for new members before they can post in their marketplace.

I do agree with BP that we do need a way to keep the weasels at bay. I think 500 posts is excessive; perhaps 100 non-OT?

It is sad to this crap infiltrating CG.

Some of the other gun Forums that I am on have 30 day wait and 30 to 50 posts required before posting in for sale forum sections.

Paypal friends and family payment for any sort of goods is dishonest, you reap what you sow.

I don't do business on here with anyone simply using Calguns as Craiglist. But that's just my .02
