So most of the transfers I have done have been through Ade's and it's been a while. My question is are they still OLL friendly since he has been bought out. They are the closest to me & would still love to give them my business.

Yes! And still good people.

They don't like the PPT any more than we do but they are quick, polite and want your business.

I have done several PPT's there in the last few months.

I have bought three handguns and a rifle from them and two more handguns that were on consignment.

When I have several PPT's in a row without doing some kind of purchase, I buy the store burritos from their favorite mexican food shop at the end of the strip mall (carane asada). Sure goes a long way to keeping everyone relaxed and happy to see me and my PPT.

I prefer them over Fowler's any day.

I just picked up a lower from them yesterday. All of the employees I have dealt with are very friendly. This shop is out of the way for me, but I always go back because everything is handled smoothly.

They recently handled a transfer for me and were great to deal with. I'm from the San Diego area and they treated me like my business mattered. I bought some ammo and will definitely return, especially as there was a certain consignment gun there I lust after...

Ade's is still the same shop minus the fact that it's under new ownership although the new owner promises the same service, etc.

I just had them do some work on a couple old 22 rifles that my dad had under his bed for the last 30 years. They did a great job of cleaning them up and did it under the price they quoted me.
I am very happy with the service and work that they did.

I have been there window shopping over the last couple days-they have a couple AR's,AK,RPK,Garand,etc and had a couple GSG5's for 649.00 NIB and they HAD a shippment of SIGs in but no idea how many left(heard they come with 3(?)mags. They have some complete uppers for 920-cough, some lowers,etc...

BUT I noticed they have a sign up regarding SELLING a firearm and it is a fee..something like 10% of the price or if the price is OVER $1500, the fee is $150(!).. not sure if this is going to be just for consignment firearms or if it is now going to affect the PPT transfers..such as you having to PAY or RECEIVE the $$ for the item being transferred...

Just my observations,but I still do like going there and hope to buy a springfiel basic 45 1911 or something else pretty soon. I keep going in there to see what shows up...

This is Steve from Ade's. Just wanted to clarify that the 10% charge is on consignments over $1,000. We do NOT charge anymore than the DROS for Face to Face PPTs.

+1 for ade's. Walked in to do the paperwork on a dealer transfer. In and out of the store in about 15 minutes even though the place was full of customers.
