I put a leather covered magnet i bought off ebay under my wifes desk.

Surprisingly secure. It screws in and it easy on/off

I grabbed a packing cube for like a backpack and store it in there. Easy to open and secures it for easy move to another spot if need be.

Uncle Mike's inside-the-pocket-holster is what I use when the G26 isn't on me. Even when I put the gun in my bedside safe it is in the pocket-holster. I want to make sure that if I grab the gun in a hurry, I don't get my finger where it shouldn't be until I am ready. Just a flick and it falls clear.

I just have a cheap nylon holster for my .38 snubbie. I cut a piece of kydex (any rigid plastic or metal will work) and ran it through the belt-slot and used 4 screws to mount it under the desk.
