    Selling an AR

I have an AR made a JD lower that I bought directly from them 10 years ago ish. I never made the rifle "compliant" or registered it, or, whatever. Can I make it compliant then sell it? Ultimately I want to sell it, legitimately.

Yes make it featureless or fixed mag . For now separate upper and lower and store separately. You now possess an assault weapon.

Sell the lower and upper separately. Sell the lower at the gun store and then you can hand the buyer the upper. Done deal.

Yes, although the market price of a generic used AR is about $350.
