The system is just down for them. It likely means they screwed up with DOJ. The FFL expired, COE expired, dealer license expired, forgot to renew or pay fees etc. My guess is something along those lines.

I have experienced it before, and there was a big thread here last month on a bay area big box FFL that was in the same boat (Bass Pro IIRC). They were down for almost two weeks.

          Which FFL? Please?

You are one of the many who can not pick up from that shop. It is not bad mouthing the shop.
By naming the place, you will help others save time and travel.

I have experienced this, the side on the LGS end locked up. It took about 45mins to resolve. But I have also heard about when a LGS gets suspended.

Solar Tactical in Livermore? I went there last Saturday to do a PPT and was told their system was down due to an issue with their CFD#. That didn’t jive with me as a simple local licensing issue because they usually have a 30 day grace period (which would kick in Feb 1st) to submit current local business license along with centralized list renewal fees.

They are probably locked out because they haven't paid their fees to DOJ.

What if it goes past your 30 day pickup window?
ATF Form 4473: If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver, not a handgun or long gun.

i would withhold judgement until someone finds out something that is confirmed because DOJ and that piece of garbage computer system and "employees" that operate it could be just as wrong as the shop or the license holder. The last time I got tangled up with DOJ I was told to do it all over again and repay all fees because they let the timeframes expire. There are two sides to every story and Assemblyman's kiley can probably tell you a few horror stories about DOJ.

Yes, 100% it could also be a problem that DOJ caused or made more likely to happen.
