Thoughts, lose value, or increase in value?

70 of these sets made, stamped with 70th anniversary.
    (1) HK MR556
    (3) HK AR-15 416 30 RD Steel Magazine
    (1) HK45
    (5) HK45 10 round magazines
    (1) matching commemorative folding HK knife, made by Hogue
    Shipped in custom explorer case.

Well these sink or rise in value.
Seems pretty steep from my end, retailing at $5,000.00
You can buy all the separate components for roughly $3000.00 by themselves with out the "special" roll mark

I think there is some collectible appeal to it since it is uniquely finished and the firearms (I suspect the HK45 is too) have unique logos.

Some rabid HK collector may spend $5000.

Who wants to spend $4500 for this?

when these sell for about $700?

That “battle worn” finish - as HK calls it - looks like a cheap spray paint job.

It has been my experience that "manufactured" collector items generally never appreciate in value. Very seldom does the original purchaser ever break even, let alone make a profit.
