    Burbank area gun stores?

I did a search but nothing came up.
I know this has been asked before but couldn't find it.
A co-worker at the airport has been awoken by events in NO and is interested in purchasing.

There are at least two, maybe 3 gunshops in Burbank. They are not too far from Nickelodeon Studios. I can't recall the street or the names, and they were kind'a samll, but if you can get the Burbank yellow pages, they are in there.

      Stevenson Gun Country
      1313 West Magnolia 818 845 6015

Gun World is almost on Buena Vista & Magnolia (and overpriced IMHO!)

There is another shop on San Fernando a couple miles east of the mall also.. don't know its name looked like mostly C&R stuff.

auctionarms.com's ffl finder list a couple transfer dealers also..

They all are overpriced but at least Kings does good work on guns. Stevensons really is "the gun shop without the attitude" but little selection and prices can be crazy. Have got a deal once though. Anyone want a "sniper" Russian SKS for close to $1000!

Gun World, seems new, I stepped in there like a year ago or so. Not much, high prices, has selection improved? That MTV show, meet the Barkers, the wife bought the blink 182 husband a desert eagle there!

Stevenson - small store with very limited selection. Nothing excited.

King's - excellent place for your custom 1911.

Gun World - Lots of brand names. Ripped off prices and ultra ARROGANT.

I not sure if he still does firearms. I think he got tired of the CA DOJ BS and surrendered his 01 a year or two back. I was there once when he was going through an audit. You may be able to find antique firearms there though. Lot's of interesting militaria and C&R parts too.

Hmmm, I didn't experience the "attitude" but I use them primarily for transfer services which are pretty reasonable and no hassle. I might describe their attitude (well the owner's) as "reserved". They also recognize my COE/03 combo. Prices are high but I wasn't buying at the time so I don't know if they were negotiable or not.

King's has a nice selection of C&R and other collectible handguns and rifles as well as 1911 stuff. The people seemed nice as well.

              Happy hunting!

The Firing Line in Burbank sells guns at 15% over their cost for cash, 18% for credit card. They can order almost any gun you want.

I assume you mean 15 and 18 percent markup.

Just curious, and not to start a war, but what is the difference between your clarification and the poster's original statement? I understood his just fine.

More info on the new Glendale gun shop would be nice. Prices, selection? I was aware of the 15% deal at firing line for awhile. I'm surprised more people don't mention it.

I personally do not patronize the firing line but that seems like it could be a good deal for some guns. Also, what is the base catalog that firing line is using to add the 15% too? Davidsons?

I think we don't hear about the 15% thing at firing line more because many people like to see/fondle a gun before purchasing it I guess.
