So who offered the 1911? I'll give you a full box of 50 in trade
[Information added 05/03/2009 7:34:52 PM]
I have received many emails regarding this auction and I want to thank everyone for the kind words and humorous comments. I have to decline offers of trade as once a bid is placed it must be sold to the highest bidder. One fellow offered me a new Colt 1911 in trade but I realized that if I swapped I wouldn't have any ammo for my new gun. I also want you say to the many, many people who asked... of course I will ship to California.Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison
The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)Comment
