    Shot Timer App

Are there any decent shot timer apps that folks can use instead of buying a dedicated unit? How do they work in an indoor range where somebody is shooting in the lane next to you?

I've used "Make Ready!" lite with reasonable success. Indoor ranges are tricky though - try putting your phone in a box or ammo can under where you shoot so the mic is less inclined to think shots coming from your neighbors are yours.
Its an expensive hobby, but more expensive when you try and convince yourself you don't need what you really want.

Shot timers (or apps) generally don't work in indoor/public ranges with multiple shooters.
Shot timers are intended to be used where only 1 gun is going off in close proximity to the timer.

Not an app, but this has the sensitivity and filtering needed for an indoor range: https://www.amg-lab.com

Surely there's something that could plug into the headphone jack in a set of ears? Maybe the new MantisX?

Does your indoor range allow draw from holster?

It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Ha! Nope. None of the ranges out here do. No rapid fire either, though I can usually get away with double taps.
