    Electronic Training Devices

Been thinking about getting one of those devices that you can train trigger control without hitting the range. I know range time trumps everything but in between trips and for the wife to help us with training.

What is the best as far as price vs quality?

I've used most of them. Mantis X is one of the more useful. Not what you want to hear probably, but a consistent dry fire program beats them all in the long run. Biggest benefit I've seen is that new gear can get you out of a rut when you are bored.

      - If you are shooting a Glock the DryFire mag is useful (but not necessary).
      - If you train for retention shooting a SIRT pistol is useful.
      - My issue with the lasers is that they make it easy to start looking for the dot instead of trusting your sight picture. That leaves a training scar you'll have to undo later.

Dry Fire is boring, but it works. If you don't have a dry fire program yet I've posted one here along with tips (17 posts in): https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/...3#post23755393
