    FFL Transfer

Hi, I'm in North OC, and would like to buy 5 AK74 Receivers on Gunbroker, however I was quoted 25.00 plus $60.00 per receiver for the transfer (?)
    is there a cheaper way?

You can shop around for cheaper transfer prices. Some will do $40 for the first and $20/ea for the remaining. Check with 2A Zone. I am in Norcal so don't know all the Socal FFLs.

Email the guys at 2A zone and check with riflegear.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

and the pain of post 2020 DROS/DOJ starts and it will only get a lot worse in some areas. The hobby just got a lot more expensive.

I’ve used Aces a lot, their transfer fee went up recently though so you may want to call first,

Not sure if Sean at Redfield Arnory is still around, but he’s always been good as well.

sounds like we still have some good people around. The sad part is that good people are making sacrifices to make up for the state and its greed.

Thanks guys, Rifle gear was the highest that I called ($60.00 each plus $25.00)
I have 5 Bulgarian kits (circle 10) that I've been saving, will build these as a fixed 10 round mag, I have some 80% but it's to much drama with the state to register them.

Aces went from $25 to $35 for PPTs. Still a good deal and pleasant to deal with. Glad I bought my lever gun last year and saved $28
