Signed FSC card

I've been contacted by my FFL to send in a picture of my FSC card with my signature on it, I have never been required to sign one before. Is this something new?

I remember signing mine before I started issuing my CCW instead.

Thanks for the link. I found the problem, I was given the top half of the form and they kept the bottom half with my signature. (Form BOF 034 rev. 01/2015)

I have made 4 purchases without a signature, signed and forwarded a picture so all is well.
