Also NOT a semi-auto which is why most of 31910 does not apply to it.
Once you make it a semi-auto, then the semi-auto portion of 31910 do apply and the CA7 is NOT in compliance which is why conversion of non-semi-autos into semi-autos is a problem.

No good going to the range with no peace of mind. Just ppt a ar pistol dros as a semi and a pistol and youl have more fun in the range.

This above or have you son, grandson, father, grandfather in another state gift you one for Christmas or your birthday. It's the other way to acquire off roster handguns.

Ok, so.... I can still purchase an AR15 pistol via PPT? I presume it must be fixed mag, so does that mean a solution like kingpin/ar-mag lock is good to go?

Yes, a semi-automatic AR pistol is just another pistol IF it doesn't fall under the AW statute. Since an AR pistol cannot be featureless, it must have "fixed magazine."

Use search on here and weed out the FUD and the oblivious posters. Quiet, Librarian, ar15Barrels, rickd are all knowledgeable. Some of the rest got there facts from sisters hairdressers cousin who stayed at a Holiday Inn once, (LOL)

PPT a semi auto receiver is the best and safest route, mag lock before completing assembly of the pistol.

CA7 may be a few hundred less than a semi auto receiver. The writing on the CADOJ site is specific to a certain gun and a certain violation.

If you’re wanting the semi AR pistol just wait for a listing that fits your needs. If you want the shortest AR possible in a rifle configuration there’s the pin and weld option.

You can also pay a lawyer specializing in firearms law $150 for a consultation and ask your questions there

Forums are a nice place to start but depending on your situation or what you are trying to do, getting advice from lawyer is helpful

Nah, I don't think it glows, I just think it's a newer member whose first language may not be English.
