Yet another FFL03 question...

OK, let’s say I sell a modern handgun (not C&R) on GunBroker to someone in a different state. I understand I can only send it TO an FFL, but some of them want it shipped FROM an FFL as well. Does my FFLO3 count as shipping from an FFL? Or does it have to come from an FFL01?

FFL 03 works for shipping through USPS.
Places requiring you to ship FROM an FFL are just making their own rules.
If their rule is "FROM an FFL", an 03 IS an FFL.
If they say it must ship FROM an 01/02/07etc... then maybe they won't accept your 03.
I would not ask because I would not want to know.
I would simply follow their "FROM an FFL" requirement.

C&R FFLs cannot mail a handgun unless it also meets antique status. Makes no sense, but that is what the current Postal Manual says.

A C&R FFL is legally irrelevant to the sale of a modern handgun, but it might satisfy the store shipping policy of a receiving FFL dealer.
