I have been considering buying a system like this. Do they live up to the hype?

Laser training

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.

My last trip to the range last March at Reeds, just resized Pic on October to fit this forum upload. I probably just shot my Glock 20 sf under 300 rounds using a 40sw conversion barrel at 7 yards. This was a 40sw at 7 yards. I train mostly using laser training. Self taught just learn through you guys and from Ruger forum.Attached FilesComment

i use something similar, a laserlyte quick tyme, which also has some timing features.
personally, i think it is great for me with a relatively heavy DA trigger on my sigs. i dry fire all the time.
i use a laser cartridge in my actual guns and not the practice ones used here.

Do you have to slide after each trigger pull?Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

Yeah i know not on par with you guys, combined total rounds fired with my GP100 and Glock20sf is under 500 rounds spread across 3 years. Im a relative newcomer and on a budget, my 3 years shots fired is probably your quota per 1 range visit, lol.Comment

It arrived last night and I've been "playing" with it since!
I don't feel a need to use the app I downloaded on my phone because just seeing the momentary red dot at each shot is satisfying by itself.
I paid $30 for one on amazon called Pink Rhino in 9mm and so far I tried it in my glock and my 1911. I like it better in the glock because it's actually more hassle to cock the hammer on the 1911 than pull the slide back on the glock to reset the trigger. I no longer own a DA semi-auto but it would be great in that type of gun.
I like a lot! I probably got 500 trigger pulls on it since last night. My 12 year old said it was sort of like a video game as in you see your hits but you're at home!
I was hoping to go to the range today but circumstances and obligations came in the way of that but I feel like I had good trigger time with the laser so I'm satisfied.
I think this type of thing is excellent trigger practice and would say get one!Comment
