    Ade's New Shop

Right next door to the old shop, but a lot more space and no coin guy.
    New Address
    Ade's Gun Shop
    223 South Tustin St
    Orange, CA 92866
    714-744-3373

    Same spotty hours.

He's still in the set-up process, but I've already noticed an increase in inventory. He also has a few stripped OLL in stock and several OLL builds in various configurations. Stop in and say hi.

              Wow

I really gotta make a trip over there again now that he's moved, I just hate that drive from Riverside. It's only a few miles but takes an hour plus sometimes on the 91. Whoever took the pictures, thanks for the update, now convince him to get a website with his guns for sale, new and consigned.

              Have a great Kenpo day

You kidding? He's still running dial-up. I think he did mention something about hi-speed internet in a week or so.

Ade use to rent space from a guy who runs a coin/ whatever he could drag into his shop to sell guy (Joel). Joel a nice guy, but I think he got a little disturbed with all the foot traffic for Ade, as most of Joels business was selling on the internet.

Thanks to the OLL craze and Ade willing to receive, his business has grown a lot in the past 10 months. This has allowed him to expand. The shop was always a part time thing with Ade as he still has other jobs. This is why he has such spotty hours.

Joel struck me as being a less than honest junk collector than a professional numismatist. I was there waiting one day when Joel was trying to rip some old lady off for her slabbed (and no doubt rare) old coins, like WAY below Bluebook. She obviously knew their worth, and quietly walked out. I know he's in business to make money, but he was gonna righteously burn that old woman.

That sounds like Joel. And from what I've heard, he's actually considered a fair & honest guy in that business.

I'm sure Ade could tell you some stories.

Did you ever pick-up a S&W model 28? Yesterday (Friday) Turners in Chino Hills had a 6" 28 in like new condition for $375. I see it's no longer listed on the Turners On-line Gun rack. I guess that list needs to be checked daily. Never know when something will turn-up.
