    Glendale Gun Show?

    Anybody go yet?

Was it any good AFA ammo and guns?

I just got back, and got the last 1,000 rounds of milspec .223 62 gr. for $195 bucks and Ammo Brothers were there and I got 100 rounds of .223 55 gr. for like $21 bucks just to check it out.

The think what surprised me was the SA .308 stuff was $39 bucks for 140 rounds so I picked up 280 rounds.

They did have some guys selling some OLL's alot of beef jerky.

All in all I thought I did good, but the show is slowly going down hill IMO...

Not to flame, but whats so surprising about this?? Anyone can go to their nearest Turners and buy SA .308 140rd. battlepacks for that much.

If anything, I think it's surprising that the gun show price is as high as the retail price.

That being said, I will be there tomorrow in support of the show, and for my obligatory jerky. Lord knows I really dont need anything else from there. Maybe I'll pick up another overpriced bootleg HK shirt from SOG Armory.

I went for my first time today after coming back from ASR. It was frakin windy out there but I had to try and sight in a couple rifles as I'm goi 'yote huntin next week. Highly dissapointed but then again, I didn't expect much. The cheapest OLL was a Double Star for $170!

I checked my local turner's for SA 7.62mm ammo last week (Redondo Beach) and they were out. Did not know if they would get anymore. I have not called any other turner's store. Anyone out there recently seen / purchased this stuff at another turner's location??? I'd like to buy some more. And I know all about AIM surplus, just don't need to buy a case right now.
