Hey guys..just wondering if the 'Crossroads of the West' gun shows are worth a look? I've been to the T's gun shows and wasn't really impressed! Anything different between the two as far as vendors? The only two interesting tables are The Gun Exchange (which is just down the street from where I live) and Sonoma Firearms (which only do gun shows). Just thought I'd get some opinions before heading out to the Cow Palace next weekend...

The Cow Palace show is much bigger. Miwall ammo is there which makes it worth attending for me.Outlaw Josey Wales

you can get a 1000 rounds of reloads 9mm for 90 something...
but i would recomend getting the facorty new miwell which is like 10-20 bucks more. thats what the price was like show i went too about 2 months agoComment

I think all the Bay Area gun shows SUCK! They aren't what they used to be... I stopped going about 4-5 years ago. Please, someone tell me they are better?

The only difference between the "new" and "reloaded" ammo from MiWall is new cases of the new ammo. I've used their reloaded .40S&W and .45ACP with no problems. I buy their new .45LC for cowboy shoots, which gives me once fired cases for reloading later.Originally posted by kilwordsigpic

It's not just here. GS's suck compaired to 20 years ago every where. The internet killed the deals you'd find at GS's. But just like a blind hog will find an acorn every now and then, you can still find a deal at a GS if you keep your eyes open.Originally posted by icormbaHey Tunis!

i bought 1000 rounds miwell reloaded 9mm alot of people said works great but it jammed about every 3-5 rounds in my cz sp01. would always get stuck on the feed ramp like it was just a hair to long and would stick to the top of the barrel and wouldnt level out into the barrel, a little push would usually make it feed completly. but it was frustrating. only ammo i ever had issues with in my cz. but everyone says the stuff works great. id try some out before buying alot of it.Comment

+1 and there are still some sometime-sellers that are ever ready to make a deal...but they are farer & fewer these days.
