Walmart ammo at clearance prices - get some!!

I only go to Walmart only a couple times a year and it's to buy motor oil or ammo, and today turned out to be ammo.

14 cent per round for 9mm winchester steel case
15 cents per for federal aluminum case
15 cents per for winchester white box

Not dupe. I saw the other topics. No one posted the clearance pricing, just that they won't be restocking.

This pricing is lower than internet pricing and since it's cash and carry you're not spending on shipping. Calculate the shipping cost and ffl fee to receive 1000 rounds!

This is the lowest pricing in 12 years.

Regardless, I haven't bought any ammo since the background check silliness went into force. Well stocked, and whatever I don't have is now obtained from my good friend Mr. Dillon. Great prices, doesn't charge tax, and no shipping fees.

I've been following turners sales and their 9mm hasn't been down to 14-15 cents per round.

We can't mail order so that leaves Walmart as Turner's only competition.

Forget calling, I went and didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes.

They had one gal working three different departments but I still didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes.

I initial thought I'd stop in and buy one or two boxes if they had it but realized this could very well be my last time there so I bought little more.

I got winchester white box 9mm and it worked out to 16 cents per round after tax and background check fee.

Earlier in the week I checked ammo prices on-line and the lowest after tax and shipping worked out to 20 cents per round, PLUS I'd still need to pay the ffl fee to receive it.

If you're in the area, go check!

This next election is going to cause another panic buying event so if you reading this now you ahead of the mess.

I would guess the clearance pricing would be on the ammunition that they will be dropping, and I didn't take a good look to see which but it was random as in not everything.

I think 22 lr and shotgun, and possibly traditional hunting cartridges such as 3-30, 30-06, etc.

Specifically no 223/5.56, no handgun ammo.

We'll need to wait to find out about common pistol carbine and revolver ammunition such as 357 mag.

At my local location - white box is $17 (100 rounds). They are regular priced not on clearance.

I've seen cheaper locally both chain and Mom & Pops vendors when on sale.
