real pistol or not

saw this pistol in the movie "cold blood", (stars Jean Reno, but a really lousy movie),

What caught my eyes was the slide serration is very unusual,
anyone knows if this is a real pistol or some prop gun they made up for the movie?

More likely a prop. I recently went to a shop in Burbank that specializes in props for movies. I saw a Beretta 92fs and was convinced that it was real until I got close enough to pick it up and hold it. Would never know through a camera that is was a prop.

Where's the trigger guard?
Anyway, most guns on camera, unless they actually need to fire blanks are props. Sometimes just molded rubber/plastic and painted to look the part from 10 feet away.

At least the beretta I picked up was plastic. But the paint/finish looked real from a distance.

No hammer or apparent firing mechanism, no trigger guard, funny plastic trigger.
