USP-45 magazines are compatible with USP-45, USP-45 Elite, USP-45 Expert, USP-45 Match and USP-45 Tactical.

The Mark 23 Socom, HK-45, HK-45C and USP-45 compact magazines are not compatible with the USP-45 series.

The Mark 23 Socom... magazines are not compatible with the USP-45 series.
B.S. the MK23 SOCOM mags ARE compatible w/ USP.45 Full Size!

YOU are right! This doesn't really matter much, since Mk23's are rare to begin with, exceedingly rare in California (they need to either be registered as AWs, or use a neutered barrel), and you are unlikely to come across their magazines. NOT TRUE dont mislead the op! Costa Mesa gunshow Ol' guy w/ a beard and a hat sells rebuild kits for the MK 23 @ EVERY show!

Lastly: Be really careful with the USP 45 10-round magazines. The plastic baseplate for the 10-round version is quite fragile, and breaks easily when dropped baseplate first on a hard floor, in particular when loaded. I ruined a half dozen magazines in a tactical shooting class where we were dropping mostly-loaded magazines when practicing tactical reloads. Fortunately, replacement baseplates are available inexpensively, for example from OPS2.
Note: if the OP has Preban MK23 mags he should just run those instead and sell/ throw away the garbage USP mags (I would NEVER trust my life to the plastic tab USP mags and I feel sorry for anyone that would!) they are SOLID steel construction NO flimsy PLASTIC tabs that break constantly and work PERFECTLY in the USP45. (Even when doing "the HK slap" to force the slide forward and chamber a round all in one motion!!!)

P.S. If you try that w/ a USP mag you will have a broken mag and bullets dropping all over the floor!

P.P.S. HK if fully aware and will repair your Mags FREE of charge because they are too cheap to make a $.50 cent floor plate retention clip from metal Vs. a crappy little plastic tab.

Remember: HK hates you because you SUCK!

CDNN has the best price on USPf 45 mags. They're $20 if I remember correctly.

I'm not knocking my USP - it is a fine pistol, and fun to shoot. Just handle the mags very gingerly.
Yeah after you factor in postage AND the wait time w/o your mags a sticker is kinda

+1 for USP GREAT pistol sucky mags!
