The former owner Ben, sold the business a few months ago. Everyone I've spoken with says the place has gone straight down hill since then."Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler -
I have not had any troubles with them and have ordered from them several times recently. I placed a order last week and did get a email confirmation on order.Comment

I have ordered from them in the past and received good service. That was before the company changed hands. Have not had occasion to do business with them recently.
I always wondered why the original owner never had an online shopping cart. Those are inexpensive and easy to implement. Now the new owners have instituted "online ordering" but it is apparently not connected in any way to the actual inventory, so when they posted Wolf ammo on the site they were almost immediately oversold. I'm scratching my head trying to figure this out. I mean, I'm not Wyle E. Coyote, SuperGenius, but I just can't fathom why someone would try to run a business without better planning and better systems. Ammoman has a pretty crappy website, and even HE has a decent online purchasing system set up. Bud's Gun Shop is another example. The system knows you have 200 cases of xyz in stock, someone orders 50 cases, system now knows you only have 150 cases in stock. Someone orders the remaining 150 cases, from then on the system either takes backorders or prohibits customers from ordering what you don't have. It's not that hard.Last edited by bruss01; 04-29-2009, 8:10 AM.The one thing worse than defeat is surrender.Comment
