The only gun show I go to anymore is the Small Arks Review GM show in Phoenix in early December every year.

Probably not if you're coming from Fremont. An hour each way maybe more depending on how screwed up traffic is. Usually not a very big show.

CA gun shows suck unless you are truly looking for old parts and such. No real deals on anything modern, and yes lots of cheap junk.

gun show prices are usually much higher than ebay prices

I saw some M1 Garand bayonet scabbards with a metal reinforcement used by the Greek military priced at $75 each, I bought the same thing on ebay from Northridge International for only $10 with free shipping

the seller lied and said they were US surplus

you can find most things online cheaper, until they change the laws for gun parts and having to buy from a licensed FFL in a few more years.
