I looked at the BLM www site last week and if i read it correctly....

I think pretty much all of the BLM desert area in so cal is currently off limits bc of fire danger.

Do you have any documented incidences of compliance checks ? I know they moved the Cell tower to the other side of the 15 because people were shooting it. The greenhouses seem to be expanding too so who knows how long it will last

Went to Hodge and there was a guy parked literally when you go into hodge by the sign two guys in a old dodge caravan I pulled up and he had binoculars like he was plotting something and he look at me as if was spooked. Their was this man walking by cars with a old black parka jacket like if he was homeless sketchy person.

Most likely scrappers. They love that spent brass. The scrappers use binocs to see who is leaving so they can pick up the spent brass. There was a guy that was permanently camped out there in some old rv. He would cruise around on a atc collecting brass.

Never go alone, though.
