Well, if it works, and you like it, I think you got a good deal.
I have no idea if this gun will continue to shoot well or is a pot metal pos waiting to wear out (I have a .25acp like this), but if it's just a plinker, who cares?

It doesn't look or feel like one of the Lorcin/Davis/Raven junk guns, and the fit and finish are very good. If you handed it to me without any rollmark on it, I would've guessed it was a Glock. The receiver is glass filled nylon and the slide is milled steel.

I read some reviews on the Gen 1 DB380 and they weren't flattering, and all the internet opinions seem to be colored by Gen 1 experiences. This one is a 2018 production year Gen 2.

The kydex holster is a no-name local guy's work and it's very comfortable. It just about disappears after a minute, even sitting in a car for a 1-1/2 hour drive. I just wish it had a mag holster too.

Story I heard was diamondback was started by some folks that left Glock. Sounds like you got a good deal, especially at $100. Your coworker got anything else they don't want? Lol

It says Cocoa Beach, FL on the frame and it does feel like a G42 but thinner. It is miniscule.

The story I heard (and it was through the internet so I Really don't know how true it is) was they had a few hiccups at their very beginning, like any manufacturing company might have, that caused some of their earlier pistols to have some function issues but now I think they have it all worked out.

But for a hundred bucks, and it goes bang when you pull the trigger, how can you go wrong.

I give it two thumbs up and a good deal.

I haven’t had any experience with their handguns but I own a Diamondback AR. It has run well and I’ve had no issues with it during the few years I’ve owned it. I wouldn’t hesitate to try one of their handguns.

I just picked it up from him for $80. It shoots well and has a really smooth, really long trigger pull.

I wouldn't try to short a coworker, he's a good guy. I was stuck at the Dallas terminal for the last 4 days until this evening and accidentally left everything except my money clip at home. I told I'd take it but would have to hold off till next week because I was short on cash. He asked what I had and it turned out to be $80 and he said "good enough". I didn't even hold back coffee money for the drive home and just about ended up coasting into the driveway on fumes. I did the last 30 miles with the fuel light on- I'll have to rob my son's quad for enough gas to get to the Conoco station in the morning.

I have the DB9. It's alright, picky on ammo, but I found something that works and I stick with it. The DB9 is slightly smaller than a G43, it fits nicely in my pocket.

Lol, it's all good, just giving you a hard time. Clearly the guy just wanted it gone. As stated where's the pics? (Not of the serial of course)

I have no idea how to post pics. I've tried and failed so many times I get despondent just thinking about it.
