    First cammo attempt!

My first time painting cammo. This is my Springfield Armory Saint Victor. I wanted something that kinda matches the so cal deserts since that where I primarily do all my shooting. There so much different terrain though it's a little difficult. Im also looking to get into some coyote hunting so I figured it would be a good color scheme. I might add some more green later. Haven't seen it in the sun yet. One photo is with flash and the other not. Let me know what you guys think.

        Looks good OP!

Just be careful if you lean it against a bush to relieve yourself . . . . you might never find it again!

Well done! Tie an orange ribbon on it or you'll misplace it the first time you lay it down in the field.

Looks good. Don't forget it in the desert.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Rustoleum camouflage paint. It's mostly khaki, earth brown, and a little army green. I got a stencil from hobby lobby also. Worked out pretty well.

looks good, but for shadows I prefer the more "blotchy" spots to break up the shape like this one.

If you're aiming at the coyote, how much will they see?

That's originally the look I was gonna go for then I though maybe if I throw some sticks in it would be better. Well see when I go out the next if it matches as good as it did in my head, haha.
