Glock Spare Parts - What Should I Have?

I've been meaning to ask the experts on Calguns this question for quite some time:

What spare parts for a Glock 34 should I have on hand in case something breaks or wears out?

I have two 34's for HD. They are equipped identically, both with Trijicon HD night sights and Surefire lights. But I'd like to have on hand, should I ever need them, a basic "repair kit" in case I really need a replacement part fast.

    Recommendations?

    And thanks!

    Lets see...

Glock 27 that i have had since the 1990s, at least 3 k though it.

    No issues.

Glock 19 with maybe 2 k through it....

    No issues.

Sorry, i havent broken one yet but would be interested if there is a consensus.

If something breaks on one, use the other until the replacement parts arrive.

FWIW, I've only had to replace the following parts in the 15 or so years I've been around Glocks:
      • Locking block pin that cracked in half from a G22 with moderate round count. Didn't notice it until the frame was disassembled for cleaning, so unsure how long it had been broken. The gun still worked fine.
      • Slide stop lever from a G17. The tip of the spring broke off causing it to lock the slide back intermittently since it was free to flop around.
      • Multiple followers from 10-round magazines that chipped after being dropped on concrete.
      My buyer/seller feedback.

Well, one of the reasons I chose Glock for my HD guns is because of their reliability. But in a SHTF situation, I'd like to have both up and running rather than wait for a part that may never arrive.

Let's throw another scenario into the mix. I'm doing a thorough cleaning of the gun and take it apart further than the usual field strip. What part or parts are most likely to get lost or go flying?

        Thanks again!

This is smart thinking! It's thinking ahead. There's been talk of parts registration. It makes sense to get some spare parts before that happens.

You don’t buy spare parts, just buy more identical Glocks!

                            I've never had anything break.

Now, I've lost some springs as they shoot across the garage as I'm tinkering with things. That's the only thing that has caused me to have a dead lined pistol.

So extra small springs are nice to have.

Realistically, if something breaks at the range, and you don't have it right then and there, then it doesn't matter. With how easy it is to find stuff on line, and order it you'll have those replacement parts in hand and in the gun before you go to the range again.

I tinker a lot, and my spare parts are the ones I pulled out. I haven't bought any for the sake of spares.
