Do you have to pay $25 if a DROS fails? The answer to both is yes. Whether or not that is collected from you may differ on location, but the FFL does indeed get charged.

Kind of hard to reload .22LR rimfire lead free ammunition.

I was like WTF happened!?! I was a bit concerned/anxious/worried/etc. in that split moment, until, I had the LGS clerk RE-CHECK each and every entry he made on the online form.

Yeah, he made a mistake, and had to cancel it...

Once he RE-DID the background check - I was CLEAR. *whew*

There's no minimum 10 day wait. It can be a few minutes, hours, or days.. We have only done 2 basic checks. I forget off hand the times, but they were both approved < 7 days. I think one was a few hours and the other was a few days.

Thanks for the correction! That was my 2nd ammunition purchase since July 1st, 2019, and the first time I passed with no issues. You on the other hand deal with this issue on a daily basis!

It has been a long day, my leg is killing me, and I took my pain meds. I must have been thinking of the mandatory 10 day wait for firearms in California. Or maybe I am slowly slipping into Old Timers Disease?

I would love to reload but Just do not have anywhere to set up for it in our apartment. I do have a garage that comes with my apartment but I would fear someone breaking into it and stealing my stuff. So for now I too have to stick to purchasing.

I think they are the only place that sells ammo in the Big Bear Lake area, so people will need to drive at least 60 miles round trip and may find out they are denied otherwise.

                This is bullschit.
Buy made in USA whenever possible.

Why should your employer pay for your off duty ammo?

You must be loaded if you can afford the ammo at Big5.
