I did mean firearm safety certificate. I'll be calling the sheriff's office in Oklahoma and inquiring more on this information about carrying a firearm from a different state without a carry permit.
What are you talking about? Every county has their own sheriff.

I suggest you spend 10-20 minutes online and check the carry laws of every state you plan on travelling through. Whatever you're doing here makes no sense.

This is the text of the law, with Constitutional Carry changes (House Bill 2597) underlined: http://webserver1.lsb.state.ok.us/cf...2597%20ENR.PDF

I'm no lawyer, but the way I'm reading this is that as of November 1st 2019, while in OK anyone can carry no matter which state they reside in, as long as they aren't otherwise prohibited (see the link above for those prohibitions). Also pay attention to the list of prohibited locations in the link, and remember that federal property (including post offices) is a no carry zone.

Other resources to check include this https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/res...p/ok-gun-laws/
but most of the other usual places haven't been updated with the permitless carry information (often they just have a note saying that it hasn't gone into effect yet, like the very first line of http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/oklahoma.pdf)

Where in the state are you headed?

If you are not going until Thanksgiving and can legally possess a firearm you can carry concealed in Oklahoma. You have to go by OK law. If you drive thrum AZ, NM and TX on your way you can keep the firearm on your hip without a permit to carry. Just don't get out of the car with it on you in NM and TX. You can find all this info at www.handgunlaw.us and the carry of a firearm without a valid permit on that site at http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USRVCarCarry-1.pdf
