Oak Tree Gun Club, safe, for now.

    Folks,

Oak Tree just got off the horn with Oak Tree Gun Club. They are safe and sound. Might re-open 10/13/19. A2

That's interesting. I saw flames all around it at 8am, and flames all around it at 1pm. The mountainside behind the stables was burning, and the ridge where the sporting clay course is looked like it had flames on it. My guess is fire crews were only concentrating on structures. The only flames visible from the 5 fwy were right there.

We will see in the coming days but it did not look good.

Oaktree is at it’s safest when there’s nobody shooting there

I tried to go there today. The south bound The Old Road was blocked.

Flames are good at a shooting range. They just clear out the area for longer distance shooting.

I hope it isn't burned up. Reinstating a range takes a lot of cleanup and money and time, like years. too many new california regs and red tape. pray

I am sure they have plenty of fire insurance. Knowing them they would probably make money off the damage. Only thing they care about is gun sales.
