no no no. It's not IN the ammo. That would be silly.

It's part of the micro-stamping. They don't really want to put serial numbers on the ammo. What it is, is the engraving creates a specific magnetic signature that is detectable by the new high-tech satellites they have. That's why "they" have been trying to get micro-stamping for so long. If it was just a GPS in the bullet - tinfoil would block it. Tin-Foil won't block the magnetic signature though.
