Tell them you require a $75 thumbprint transfer fee, and a $25 John Hancock fee.

I was thinking about asking for 100-150 bucks or so as a store credit but I have no plans to drive back there for another purchase. It was just a one time thing for a PPT

Tell them to fed ex it to you with a return envelope and you'll sign, thumbprint and send it right back to them. Or they can pay for your time and gas. Not your fault they don't know what they are doing.

Call the offending FFL. Make arrangement to meet them for signature.

Have them send someone to you with the papers and the thumbprint pad.

These are both reasonable under the circumstances. Give them these options to fix their mistake, and leave it at that.

Had this happen to me at a larger chain store.
They asked if I could come back and sign.
Told them I lived over a hour away, do but my work has me 10min away.
Offered up a $100.00 store credit so I said sure.
During DROS they made me feel like a number and not a customer.

If this was my LGS than I would just drop in.
Spend more time BSing with them than buying.

You need to take into consideration how they serviced and treated you.
If right off the top they call and say.
" Sorry we missed some paper work and can you please come in so we can finalize it ? "
                      or
" If you do not come in the DOJ will kick your door in and arrest you "

For me I would do a little extra on my side if they " deserve " a pass on honest mistake.
Minimum of $ gas + 4hrs and they must do it the minute you enter the store.
20th is 2weeks so mail is still an option at this time.

did a PPT at a big store. i got a call 2 days after pick up. they lost the paper work and asked me to come in and resign. they were very nice about it. they gave me 3 boxes of 9mm. no waiting. i'm only 10 minutes away. so no big deal. was happy to help them out. would have done it without the free ammo. after all we have all lost a wallet, or camera, or something and had it returned. went in the store a week later, they said they found the original paper work.

if you remember signing and printing already, and you are sure about that, just make sure you see all the paperwork and aren't signing for something you don't have.
