It was years ago, but Big 5 did a BF ad with Peruvian Mausers for only $40. I went in right as they opened and asked to see what they had. The guy brought out a half-dozen, and one was a Czech mauser from Brno. Needless to say, I got the Czech for $40!!

Not really gun-related, but every Thanksgiving weekend Danner Boots has great on-line deals. A few years ago I paid just a tad over half price for a pair of full-height Danner Pronghorns.

I don't remember the details, but a local sporting goods store gave $250 store credit if you bought a full price gun on Black Friday. I bought an XD45. A couple of months later I used the store credit to help fund a M&P 9.

Black Friday sales are for clearing out last years old stock making you feel like you got a good deal buying old clearance stuff, discontinued items.

Last year didn't seem too hot. A few years ago, I pillaged. My Hornady Iron press with a slimmed down auto-prime was like 250, a Chargemaster combo for like 250 after rebate, etc. Like its been said, you just have to keep your eyes open.

Every year on Black Friday I save at least $1,000 by limiting my purchase to $25 total.
