Thanks, so Radway is better than most of the Green battle packed 308(SA, Portugese, etc)?

Any idea on what sort of MOA could be expected from Radway? What about battle packed SA/Portugese? Obviously variables/rifle etc but what would you be happy with from a standard M1A or off the shelf bolt gun.

I remember Zody's! I used to go to Gemco and Fedco also; does that make ME too old?

Getting back to the original thread topic, I tend to agree that 100 years old is about where I draw the line also but it has mostly to do with the condition of the ammo and whether it was exposed to conditions that would actually damage the rounds. Additionally, most milsurp ammo is sealed at the primer and bullet so even some corrosion tarnish shouldn't affect the performance of the ammo. 80's milsurp is practically brand new in my book!

Below is some 60's era Radway Green 7.62x51 ball with all sorts of corrosion and tarnish. I went through a couple thousand of these loose rounds and every single round went BANG and was fairly accurate also.

Every gun is different; to get the best accuracy out of your rig, you need to test a good cross section of ammo to find what it likes. There just isn't any "typical" accuracy between different firearms.

I've got some from Montgomery Ward's, their own label.
