    Fixed mag or featureless
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet

Because as pictured in your WTS ad, the firearm is considered an assault weapon under CA laws [PC 30515(a)(4)(A),(B),(C),(D)] and it is illegal (felony) to expose or offer an assault weapon for sale in CA [PC 30600(a)].

        Therefore...
You should be using pictures showing it in a CA legal configuration in your WTS ads.

        Penal Code 30600
        (a) Any person who, within this state, manufactures or causes to be manufactured, distributes, transports, or imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives or lends any assault weapon or any .50 BMG rifle, except as provided by this chapter, is guilty of a felony, and upon conviction shall be punished by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170 for four, six, or eight years.

Fixed your OP so that we can understand.

What lower are you using? Choosing a maglock for an AR9 depends on the how your lower is designed.

I suggest you call that manufacturer and find out which brand (if any) maglock they can recommend that works well with their lower.

I use my AR9 for Home Defense and I want to be able to use standard capacity mags on it. Many people are not aware you can only use Standard Capacity mags in a featureless rifle. If you use a Maglock, your maximum allowed mag capacity is 10. (maybe you already know that)

Therefore I want my AR9 configured to be featureless, and that's what I suggest to everyone that likes to have the full capacity of the firearm. Especially for an AR9, whose maglock compatibility can make things complicated. With featureless, you don't need to worry about that anymore.

          Hope that helps good luck.

NFA also used the BulletButton PMR to make CA legal fixed magazine versions of their AR-Glock lower.
