I haven't been to Del Mar for a few years, but I think Costa Mesa is a better show.
If Miwall is there with reloading supplies it's probably worth it.
You might also check Reload OC in Anaheim.
Also Phillips Wholesale in Covina.

It’s worth going to the Pizza Port in Solana Beach for a white clam pie and some brown ale. I don’t know about the show.Comment

Aside from the people watching which is priceless, you want to be able to save at least the price of parking and entrance. $30 plus gas to and from Anaheim Hills. Good luck.
Still going? Make notes on what you are looking for and what you can get it for online or near by. Seriously, bring a notepad. Maybe you'll get a price-match, beats just telling somebody you've never met that you can get it cheaper somewhere else.... after paying to be there.
Stock up on t-shirts with kittycats, stunguns, various questionable racist/collectible items, strange flying toys and body-armor (BEFORE IT IS BANNED!!!,the sign is getting faded these days). Have a seat and enjoy a nice $9 Heineken and some beef jerky. It beats being at work, if you have been sentenced to hard labor in the deep south. It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.Comment

I thought the GD Hippies shut down the Del Mar show.

When I've got, I save on parking by parking across the street and walking in and across the track.
Otherwise, only things I ever buy are targets and cleaning supplies. Ammo has always been reasonably priced if you pay in cash. I'd say theres a decent selection of reloading supplies but I haven't paid enough attention to that stuff to say what or how much.Comment

I started going to gunshows in the late 70's. You used to be able to get some smoking deals. Then the vendors raised their prices to the point that it was hard to find a good deal. I continued to go because I could buy reloading components in bulk and got good deals. The laws of California have had a detrimental affect on the gunshows, and with the internet, I can now find exactly what I want without having to pay exorbitant parking and entrance fees.sigpicComment

Gun shows are retarded now. The internet made them obsolete in the late '90s. Go shooting instead. Nothing there but beef jerky, beanie babies, and overweight vendors selling junk.Comment

IIRC, Del Mar is one show where they ask for ID for powder and primers due to some ordinance. That started years ago......pass.,Comment

Some organizations sued to have the Del Mar gun show reinstated. You guys should go to show some support just on principle alone. If left up to the anti-gunners we wouldn't have the Del Mar show anymore. Like pizza, even a crappy one is better than none.Comment
