    Tikka single set trigger ?

Preparing to purchase a new rifle.

After the thread on light rifles, I had to check on these, & viewing many, did find a couple I like very much.

At the moment, T3x superlite (5.6 CM or 308) has caught my interest.

What has peaked interest the most is 1. weight, & 2. how it shoulders (for me) 3. this single set trigger (they may or may not be available, to us surfs on America) This is my question.

Has there been a way, or vendor who would (might) supply these new rifles with this trigger ?

As always, appreciate any information that might help.

You can buy a new trigger spring that drops the weight significantly. I used a Elayprecision.com spring. Yodave springs are also good. I am very impressed with the Elay spring.

Seems the single set allows two functions.

        1. straight pull is like 2.5 - 2.7lbs
        2. when setting the trigger (a slight push forward SET) yields a 7.5 oz, or so trigger pull.

These have been sold in Europe for sometime now, but as of yet, I can't seem to find one here (USA).

So calling on the CGN brain trust, for input.

Haven't heard about Tikka offering single set triggers in America, only familiar with the standard single stage. I've installed the YoDave on my CTR. Trigger pull is really light (can't give exact weight since I don't have trigger pull gauge). Out of the box, the factory Tikka trigger is good and with the trigger spring it just makes it way better.

^^^ this may be the way I go, if I can't find this trigger in that rifle.

But will continue to look, & ask questions. as I don't need this gun, just want it
