Bipod for ar 15

what all do you recommend for a bipod... I have just normal handgaurds I don't want the quad rails so I know I will have to install a swivel stud somehow. any suggestions would be appreciated...

harris will do. even some like shooters ridge rock. for swivel, i believe you need the harris #5 adapter. i just put one my ar but the wider adapter since i had the moe handguards.

yeah.. after putting one of those rockmount from wally world on my new marlin 795, it's a world of difference from the harris on my ar. i decided to put a cheapo one on the marlin since it's a cheap plinker. but now after putting this on... making me think twice.

it sucks donkey balls man. LOL seriously, i don't like it. I'm so used to my harris. This felt so stiff. It's like you have move around it type thing. When lifting the rear up for cheek weld/shooting position, it is just a strange feeling.

I'll shoot it this weekend before deciding if it's worth keeping. But damn! My scope and rings already cost more than this rifle itself. I could've bought 2.5 rifles if I bought a harris bipod too! That's why I choose the cheap route on the cheap plinker.

YHM makes a nice adapter.
