Those are pretty pricey guns. Normally go for $2,000 or more at auction.

Had a gunsmith patient once that was in Germany at the end of WW2 he was an Armorer at the time and one of their duties was to "cut up" and destroy civilian firearms. He mentioned Drillings and had to explain what they were to me. Said he practically cried every time he had to chop up one of those "beautiful firearms".

I still have my Drilling, the word comes from Drie which is three.
Mine is 16ga on top and 222 on bottom
