Among the other laws put in place:

House Bill 1143 will ease regulations on licensed gun owners storing guns in their vehicle in school parking lots.
Loosening restrictions on the number of armed school marshals in a district.
House Bill 2363 permits some foster homes to store firearms and ammunition in a secure place.
House Bill 302 bars homeowners or landlords from preventing tenants from guns.
The NRA praised the move to enact new measures as "highly successful," according to The Dallas Morning News.

Yes friends Texas should be considered for gun owning Republicans who are planning to relocate. It appears one could do much worse !
