Featureless configuration for AK

Hi Calgunners,

Hypothetically speaking would an Arsenal Sam7r with fin grip, fixed stock, no mag lock, & no other accessories still be considered a featureless long gun in late 2019?

would not having a maglock make this a violation of PC30605?

Featureless means no features. A feature is defined as a collapsible stock, pistol grip, forward grip, flash hider, grenade launcher, and "thing that goes up." (ok, not that last part) Not having any of those things on the rifle makes it featureless. A featureless rifle has no restriction on the type of magazine release, meaning a free-state mag release is possible, along with those free-state magazines you bought during Freedom week.

Fixed-magazine (such as a mag lock) is another method of compliance. With a fixed mag, features are allowed, but Freedom mags ARE NOT. 10 rounders only.

Chose either featureless or fixed mag. But don't combine them together.
