that is a nice list for law enforcement if they are monitoring. Make sure you have donuts to go with te coffee when they show up at 2am.

a self-defense shotgun is what I would consider a mistake.

Sure you could get a shorter barrel for your 20 gauge or maybe even an extension tube ( if it has that capability) and have it serve a double duty.

But consider that whith it's dollar for power factor the 12 gauge pump shotgun it's just an outstanding value.
$200 or at most $300 get you a nice Mossberg, maybe even a combo model with two barrels and two stocks.

In a real self-defense situation the fact is your aim is Not going to be as good as it is at the range so maybe Pulp Fiction's "We should have shotguns " it's a good expression.

I do kind of see your logic on not having a precision rifle because maybe you could keep trying to constantly dial in your hunting rifle or shtf rifle to the best of your abilities and just to live with it.

Personally, I recommend either standardizing on DA/SA pistols (such as Sigs), or on striker fired pistols. Having one of each doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but maybe that's just me.
